Subject: RE: Masters Swim and IronmanI stuck with the master's 2X's per week and added a weekly (most weeks) lunch time swim at the Y. Our group typically does 1700 - 1900 yard workouts, so I would try and get there a bit early and add in another 500 - 600. For the last 5 or 6 weeks though I switched to the lake for an ows in the morning instead of the lunch time swim. The last 2 weeks was all in the lake. Personally, I think the masters kept me focused on form technique as I have a tendancy to get sloppy when I do all my swimming on my own. I used the lunch time swims and then the OWS to focus on longer continuous swims.
