Subject: RE: Clipless pedalsThere are a lot of options. If you want the best, and money is no object, Look Keo Carbon Ti are pretty snazzy, as are the Keo Carbons and Keo HM Ti. The Keo Sprint, Elle and Classic are the same style (Keo Cleats ), but heavier plastic and steel spindles instead of CF and titanium spindles. If you don't mind going a little old school, there are still Look Delta cleat pedals made. In my switch from 2 bolt cleats (crankbro.s ) to 3 bolt road cleats, I went with some cheap delta cleats made by Performance. Really cheap when on sale so if you don't like them your not out too much, but heavy with a AL body and steel spindle. The two advantages of the Keo over the Delta is that the Keo is newer and likely to be supported longer AND the Keo has 3 distinct cleat options: 0 float, 4.5deg float, and 9deg float. Delta only had 9deg and 0 float. If you think fine tuning float is really important or you just want new Look pedals (i.e. not used or 3rd party ), go with Keo. |
