Elite  4583   |  Subject: 12.11.16 Sunday Funday!Hey BT! Good morning! 7:30am: 1:15 on the trainer, repeat intervals in Z2, Z3 and Z4 X 4 sets...tough but loved it. I watched (mostly on the recovery period) the Kona broadcast. Darn, I want to be an Ironman again...possibly 2018...but don't tell anyone I said that! Followed up the trainer work with upper body 5X5. Heading to the school for a bit and then I'll get the doggies out for a hike. Steve...feel better! That stinks! Robert...welcome back! Karen...I was going to ask how your FTP test went...I guess you're not too happy with it! But, you know you'll build it back! Jamie, you are funny! No crazy color but a whole lot blonder than I expected. I also cut it short again--I'm going to have to update my avatar now! Have a great day kids! |

I woke up this morning at 7 (very late for me), guess I needed the sleep. 8:00 - 70' ride on the trainer, cadence focused. Yesterday was in the mid 40s. Today, it's 70. Tomorrow back to 50. My kitten has started doing this thing where she'll fall in love with my sweaty shirt when I come back from a run like it's made out of catnip. I might be sitting on a cash cow here and if she keeps doing it i'll have to start bottling my sweat and selling it to petsmart |

Kittens are born blind, so they mostly bond with the mom cat by scent. Cats basically think anyone they bond with is "Mommy", and your sweatshirt is soft and warm and smells like "Mommy". It'll just be the boring scent of some random stranger to any other cat! FTP test was ugly, yes. What can I say--I know my body. It doesn't give me something for nothing, and I haven't been doing high-intensity work lately. . And biking--out of the three sports, I have to say it is the one I appear to have ZERO natural aptitude for. I started tri as a BOP biker. I am not being modest--I mean slowest 10-20%. Every watt has been/will be earned with hours of sweat and tears (hopefully not blood)! 1:20 total of biking, followed by a very tired 16-minute brick run. Usually I feel good on brick runs (and am faster than normal ones); yesterday, not so much! Gloomy and rainy here for days. It is supposed to be dry season--not sure what's happened! |

| 233 Ventura, California | Subject: RE: 12.11.16 Sunday Funday! Easy 5k today. Was too nice not to run. Quads are sore from jumping in the training quickly. Am going to try and get a yoga session in tomorrow. Been a couple years since I lost my yoga practice, just sounds good now. Then its time to find a job, got my heart set on St George 70.3 for 2017!
