Master  1927     Guilford, CT |  Subject: Timberman - 404s or 808s or otherI may rent some 404s or 808s for Timberman. What do you think? I'm thinking 404s right now because of the versatility I've heard about the wheel and the course profile... but I admit to not being that knowledgeable, so I'm looking for a little feedback. I'll probably be coming in the low 180lb range for race day if it skews your thinking. |

Extreme Veteran 495 Stamford, CT | Subject: RE: Timberman - 404s or 808s or other I raced on 404 front and 808 rear last year. Plan on doing the same this year. You could easily go with a disk too. There are really only two significant climbs on the course, the first is a constant climb and the second is a stepped climb. |

There are very few courses where I would not use one especially when you consider that my 999's weigh less than my Kysirum SSC SL clinchers that are on my road bike (which are fairly light clinchers).
