RunningJayhawk - 2008-04-30 1:58 PM Hi there! Glad to be "stuck in the middle" with all of you.

Well that song is gonna be stuck in my head all day now.  Glad it's a good one!

Clowns to left of me.  Jokers to the right.  Here I am.  Stuck in the middle with you.

Has your wetsuit come in, Barb?

that link is blocked at work.  I can't go to any blogger.com or blogspot blogs for some stupid reason.  I'll check it out when I get home.  After training of course

I always think about Reservoir Dogs when I hear that song, now.

Boooo!!!!

Well...the wet suit came. And fits brilliantly. It's a photo documentation of the experience. I've got a few pics posted in my google photo albums section if you can access that...

Jealous.

I almost broke down and bought one, but it's already getting warm here, so I'll be in the open water soon enough.  I'll need one for New Orleans next year, though.

So what are your goals this month?

Hey gang! This is going to be fun.

Barb, I covet your wetsuit. How did you get it for free? Without giving too much away, what part of Chicago are you from? I have people in Arlington Heights. Love the city! It kicks St. Louis's a$$!!

Stuck in the middle with you is in Reservoir Dogs? I'll have to watch again....

Good to be on a great team! Whoo-hoo! Monsters of the Midway!

Oh yeah.  It's playing when Mr. Blonde dances around pouring gas on the cop and cutting off his ear.  A real heartwarming scene.

Good to be on a great team! Whoo-hoo! Monsters of the Midway!

Daaaaaaaaaa Bears, da Bears, da Bears, da Bears, da Bears.  I actually grew up a Cubs fan despite every stinking Braves game being on TV.  I can thank my great Aunt for that.  How in the world a lady from Crenshaw, MS (you'll just have to google it, I think it's still there) was such a huge "cubbies" fan, I have no idea.

But, since it's not football season, I move we adopt the New Orleans Hornets for the month.  You know, since the Bulls have long been done playing.

Hey Team!

Love these challenges; they help me stay on my training plan!

No joke.  April was my "key" month, and without the multisport challenge, I don't know if I could have done it.  Of course, I'm taking the easy way out this month and just cheering.  I have races on May 31st and June 7th, so my taper will start sometime this month, and my tapers are sketchy at best.  I have no idea what sort of time I'll be putting in, but I'll be watching all your logs like a hawk!

Feels good doesn't it?

Me?  Oh, a little to much BT time today.  I've left myself quite the busy two days to finish the week.  There will of course still be time to run and swim, because they are oh so fun.

It does feel good!  I'm heading up a very major project right now and tomorrow is the first day I turn over deliverables to the IT team - I wanted to exceed expectations, I hope I will
