Pre-race routine:

Stare out the hotel window at the dark and the wind and the rain and question myself....then I ate my frosted mini wheats, drank my pepsi, cut holes in my hefty bag and caught the bus....
Event warmup:

porta-potty lines. pulled off the hefty bag. fumbled with the garmin. And then I was off!
Run

Fun! Nice people, gorgeous course, rain not as bad as I'd thought it would be. Nice if they enforced the headphone rule - heck, they could go back to pictures now and do it! I ran faster than I ever thought I could!
What would you do differently?:

Not wear the jacket, and/or dump the jacket! Get my garmin going on time. Eat more while out on course. Looking back 48 hours later, a warm-down would have been a very good idea.
