  • I spent a really nice weekend away with my DH at Mont Tremblant where we got to bike and run the Ironman course. It's really lovely - even though it's going to be a tough day i think will be amazing.
  • Met some nice neighbours with their dogs yesterday when I was out walking my pooch
  • It's busy and going well at work

* Finished RAMROD (Ride Around Mt Rainier in One Day) yesterday afternoon. Lisa was there at the both the start and finish line.

* My daughter has been having a great week at CSI camp. Yep, Crime Scene Investigation. Her interest in everything Nancy Drew is still alive and well, in spite of an invasion of pre-teen Selena Gomez and all the other poorly-acted Disney channel sit-coms.

I'll agree with Marcy.....x17 for the Olympics starting. Doing a party for the family tonight (bought Team USA shirts as a surprise, going to get 'food from the world' for appitizers, get out some of my race medals and wear them, etc.....)

Found out last night that I was selected to be a part of a year long leadership class sponsored by the city. It was an application and interview process. There were only 25 selected out of the city to do this. Pretty big deal.

I ran and biked consistantly this week.....since I signed up for IMTX, figure I better start training now.

It's Friday!

And to echo others, the Olympics start tonight The Olympics starting is a bit sad at my house. Two of our good friends have a going away party tonight, but I'm happy we get to hang out with them one last time before we say "See Ya Later."

My new job has reignited my passion for helping children, as opposed to having the big bureaucracy grind me down and make me cynical for the past couple of years.

I have been back on the wagon for health eating and exercise.

Nothing miraculous, but consistent for 4 weeks.

Lost over 10 lbs, but the body composition numbers are looking even better!

I got my first vacation in way too long and my first ever vacation that didn't involve a family visit.  I was sent to London for work and tagged on 4 glorious days touring the city and loved every minute.

Watching the opening ceremonies takes me back to wonderful vacation moments.

The training I went to London for went really well and should help me to progress my career with my company.
