They are bringing that tour to Denver this spring. Please report back as I am considering attending the show. I've seen the Who 3x but it's been 25 years since I last saw them in concert. There won't be too many opportunities in the future.

You are in for a real treat. . I saw the show in early December - I think it was the second night of the tour - and I am here to tell you, it was a full on rock show. Townshend is still totally physically capable of giving one of the most intense performances you will ever see. I had written Daltrey off after their Superbowl gig but he had surgery on his vocal cords sometime since then and his voice is back to about 90%. Again, those two guys plus the rest of the band does not a nostalgia trip make; it's a flat out rock show.

Quadraphenia was never my favorite piece of work but I got to listen with fresh ears and would say December's show was the second best of the ten or so times I've seen them, following only my first show in '78(I know, never saw them with Moon). To all with a chance to catch the tour before it wraps up, don't hesitate, it'll be alright.

Seats were awesome, show was awesome, Roger's voice was very good (if not great) and yes, Keith Moon sang and Entwistle had an insane bass solo (seriously)

Yeah, 2d row center with a short guy in front of me.

Of course, some d bag from down the row kept coming over, holding is f ing phone over his head to record it.  don't be that guy.  Also, people that were there for "the who" and not "quadrophenia" seemed disappointed, and didn't really know what was going on

ETA - My review.  Some sound/ear monitor problems, made Roger a little testy.  They play Quadrophenia in whole,. no talkin/bantering until that part is over.  I get it, but it made it seem a little formal.  Backup band was fantastic.  Zak got all the drumming genes, good horn section.   Roger's voice in fine form, he hit most of the good notes.  A bit was pre-recorded (punk and the godfather, the "i'm the eye in the sky" bit), but he sounded very good.

Pete is, in a word, amazing.  I would have preferred he sang his parts like the album, but he sort of talk/sang them.  But the guitar, the man can rock for a 68 year old

Following the album, they loosened up a bit, played Who Are You, Behind Blue Eyes, Pinball Wizard, Baba O Reilly, Won't Get Fooled Again and a recent song, Tea and Theater, which was just Pete on acoustic and Roger singing, a nice look at the past and present.

Had the chance to see them in 82 or 83 and missed it.  Probably won't see them again, it was a pretty special night, and I realize what a great piece of work Quadrophenia really is
