Just as I've publicly announced what I was going to give up for Lent (Chocolate)...Evil little boxes showed up on my desk.  I don't normally go for gorging out on what your going to give up but I made an exception for the Samoas.   Dang things need to disappear overnight and not by me consuming them.

What's your favorite?

Lent hasn't started yet.  You've still got a couple of hours to gorge yourself...

Samoas! Is there any other kind? I'll graze a whole box in less than two hours.

Thin Mints, which should be renamed "Thick Mints" because that's how you end up after going through a box or three.

Those evil little temptresses with their brown and green uniforms and little boxes of deliciousness were outside the local grocery store this weekend.  I succumbed to two boxes of Samoas, and two boxes of the shortbread cookies.

It may be just me, but the Samoas taste different this year.  Like even more sugary than normal.  I have only eaten two of the cookies.  One on Sunday, and one today, and both times I thought the same thing....   Anyone else notice this? I haven't tried the shortbread yet.

Oh sure, the thin mints are devilish enough, and you had to go and throw ice cream into the mix.  You sure know how to tempt the weak spirit!

Peanut Butter Patties or Samoas.....I love 'em! They are so like crack! Although I don't think any girl scouts frequent the local grocery store by me. I haven't seen them there for the past 2 years. I may have to go somewhere else to get my yearly fix!!

I ordered a total of 5 boxes this year. None have shown up yet. I am dreading the day they do. If I disappear from BT, it's because I've eaten myself into a diabetic coma. I may have to enlist the help of the sort-of-boy...a good excuse for a rendez-vous

Where were all of you the past two weeks we've been trying to sell GS cookie?!  We ordered 120 cases and actually sold all but about 2 or 3 cases, but geez - it was harder than I thought!
