Our rag-tag team placed 2nd overall in Physical events, and a few of our team mates got selected for the World's team. Unfortunately I missed out since I got DQed in 2 events (have to keep a 120lb. orange mannekin's face out of the water 100% of the time to NOT get DQed) involving mannekins! Oh well! I got recruited for Surf lifesaving nationals, and since I surf ALL THE TIME when I'm on the island I should be ok there! |
