Midweek ride in Chandler!

where would that be and how long/far are you plannin on going?

5:30 at the NW corner of riggs and mcqueen for an easy 90 minutes. I am guessing that will equate to about 25 miles.

Anyone and everyone is welcome. My workout plan requires 90 minutes and a HR zone. The HR zone is pretty low, so everyone should be able to keep up. Otherwise I cheat and loaf a little bit.

After that is a 4 mile run for me. And yes, I'm still planning on going to OWS that night to socialize.

Maybe you can actually teach me about HR zones too. We have 90 minutes and all. I might even wear my HR monitor for kicks.

I need a live-in nanny so I can do these things.

Would you be able to come early morning on a different week day if we do this again?

My problem is my  husband works in North Scottsdale so he generally leaves the house around 6:15am.  I'll talk to him and see if there is a morning when he can hang out a little longer.

Starting next week I'll make the ride.  I get my new bike tuesday afternoon.

I guess I just assumed that no one would want to do crazy bike rides in south chandler during the week. Thankfully Javamom did not assume.

I'm out next week, but after that I'll have frequent (read once or twice a week) rides in that range.

Some of them are not group friendly (ie when I'm supposed to ride at a specific HR for a specific amount of time) but I'll publish them anyway. Just know if I end up ahead (or more likely) way behind it's not because I'm antisocial.

Who's in for this?

I was only going to ride an hour tomorrow (about 18 miles) but I'd like to get a little more time in the saddle and I've never gone 25miles before.

I'll probably be able to make it if it's still a go.

I'm probably going to ride out on Pecos tomorrow morning, two laps is about 30 miles.

Out in Awatukee? What's your average page for 30 miles, I wouldn't want to slow you down

I just checked out your log and I can probably hang with you if you want somebody to ride with.

Jot and I are still meeting at 5:30 out here. I think Robin might meet us, if anyone is coming please pm me so we look for you. Otherwise at 5:30 we hit the road.

That sounds good! I'm assuming I'd be able to park at the park n' ride? If not my parents live about a mile from there and I can just ride over and meet you at the park n' ride.

Either way I'll see you there at 7:30.

Thank you so much for the Tour de Sacaton Jot!!! And thanks for meeting up with us Robin!! It was a fun time (other then that wicked head wind). I hope we can do this again, Jot let us know when you need another ride in that zone!

Will you guys be doing Thursday next week in chandler?? I am going to morning swim group tomorrow, but am really interested in finding a good mid week ride. I need to figure out some good routes so I can go out solo occasionally too!

I am not 100% sure which day it will be but we will definitely be riding sometime. We will keep you posted!

I am going to ride wednesday morning here in chandler next week(7-24),  Thursday mornings are the only days i can't ride.
