We're ordering mass amounts of Chinese take-out and camping in front of the tv tomorrow night!

I'm looking forward to watching the opening ceremonies tomorrow.  It should be fun.

I think we need a different icon for the forum though.

Yeah I like the opening ceremony coverage.  It's the rest of the coverage I don't like.  From reading everyones posts I wish we got CBC coverage.

NBC will show Swimming, Gymnastics & Basketball.  Filled with cheezy music and lots of human interest stories.

I LOVE those!!!

Thats supposedly why they do them.  They know men will watch paint dry if it is considered a sport, women on the other hand don't like sports and they look for ways to draw them in.

I DO NOT agree with this, I know lots of guys that don't watch sports and lots of women that are glued to the TV watching them.

Very excited about the Olympics this year.  Pizza and beer for us tonight  Oh, and DISH network added an extra channel to cover the games.  So excited

I'm not really a fan.  If they didn't show all of those, they'd have more time to show more of the actual events.

Ditto. I'd rather watch the athletes. The opening ceremony show was pretty dang cool, though, you have to admit.

I really like the opening ceremonies, too.  There were some cute flag carriers.    And I like seeing what people are wearing.

For sure! I completely missed it and only found this because someone mentioned it in a different forum.
