Beach volleyball - Walsh

Support tape for a shoulder injury.  She had surgery on that should Nov 2007.

Special tape/bandaging. She had shoulder surgery awhile ago.

They said it because it helps her keep her pre-game routine, ie start stretches X minutes before start of game, etc.

More likely it's a sponsorship thing....

she wears a watch because she is not tan underneath there and doesn't want a white stripe with sunburn in it on her wrist (well that's my guess anyway). If not that then sponsorship as said above.

watching their match vs Belgium right now and all 4 players are wearing kinesio tape on some part of their body. Could be the next athletic fashion trend. "Be like Kerry" 

She wants to be six inches shorter? 

Oh it will be a sad day when the women's beach volley ball is over.

The stuff my PT used was all made in China, and there was a bunch of different colors  - pink, black, white, etc.  He said the Chinese believe that each color has different properties

I think black just makes you kick a$$.  Just watched the first set against the Belgians.  holy cow.....

Yeah, evidently the blue that one of the Belgians was wearing doesn't have quite the kick-azz properties that the black does.

Heh, I wore the blue in the pool for a few weeks.  Clearly would have been faster with black.  An now the belgians just got crushed

That second game wasn't even a contest. Walsh and May just steamrolled them.

Those two are freakin' machines!  I love watching them play.  The uniforms are nice too!
