Local running store InStep is sponsoring an indoor marathon this January at the Petit Center.  94 laps around the oval...oh, my.  Hope the runners don't get dizzy!

I'm more worried about the ankle, knee, and hip issues with having to go counter-clockwise all the time.

Don't know about you, but I HATED indoor track season and I ran the mile (singular). I think I'd rather suffer the potentially bad January weather than 94 stinkin' laps indoors. So when is sign up?

I think I'd need some help keeping count.

BTW, link was dead. Extra characters at the end aren't needed.

They're limiting it to 100 runners. I'd HATE to take up one of the precious spots. Yep, that's the story.

I am bored just thinking about looking at the same scenery 94 times.  I would rather suffer the below zero yuck of winter as well.

My off-season training sucks if I don't have a race to motivate me. I may not rule this one out...

Arizona is definately much more fun than running in a circle (or oval) that many times.  My old dog did that when she was a puppy but then realized she would never catch her tail.

darn, Tammy beat me to it...I was going to ask if they have loaded pistols at the aid station tables so that you can shoot yourself after 30 laps due to extreme boredom.

On the plus side there would be very little chance of getting lost.  Of course I excel at getting lost so I am sure I could find a way.

Maybe it would be more interesting if they gave everyone squirt guns.  My kids would come watch if there were squirt guns allowed.
