Jen and her husband are doing something to do with video games and Blake is jealous

Heather - did you find the water bottles?  hopefully they were just misplaced and not actually stolen

Bill (wgraves) - needs a nap after his trip to Moab (I wonder if he had a lot of cheesecake there - lol)

speaking of cheesecake - where has Sal been?

other than that I saw mentions of cupcakes, whips, feather dusters (that's a new one ) cattle prods, tequila

Oh, I made page 1 and I have been MIA for so long I don't have a clue other than the short synopsis above about what's going on. 

Brick on tap today....that means I need to get off the computer, eat breakfast and get out there since I have a lot of other stuff to do too.

barqhead - 2008-08-30 11:22 AM Happy Saturday, Nibbs! Just got back from another exciting bike ride. Hubby is racing today. The pros are racing today here in my hometown. Just the Time Trial today. Wonder if Zabriskie will take the Stars and Stripes jersey? Road race is tomorrow. Planning on catching the action live downtown. I just love it when the pros come to down. There have been lots of pro sightings on Paris Mountain this week. A friend of mine saw Tyler Hamilton out on Wednesday. Pretty cool stuff for little ol' Greenville

Cool, have fun!  I did a good brick today.  I'm feeling better about my race next week but if it's hot/humid the run will be a suckfest. Oh well, I have trained in it, I know what to expect.

So my co-workers and I survived our first tri... I can't beleive that a race that I was listed as RD was a success... Well, yes I can... I do put on pretty good special events... and the pool manager basically served as RD as well....

We had a SUCCESS!!!!!  Everyone was excited and is looking forward to next year....

We may have run the safest race in Ut this year.... we had 5 officers.... 3 patrol cars and motor on our dinky little 3 point something mile loop....

There were a few glitches but nothing major....

I am QUITE tired.... got up at 4am... got to the building at 4:45 to pick-up a few forgotten items... got to pool at 5:10am... race site was cleaned up by 11:30am.....

Came home to watch taped LSU game... and the VCR ate it early in the 2nd quarter

BUT my Tigers won!!!!

Spoke to some La relatives today...

most my clan is spreading out from Arkansas to Florida in efforts to escape Gustav...

the "smart"ones are staying put.... I think Andrew was too long ago for them to remember the tornado's... crazy cajun's

Yes, my home town is located in St Mary Parish which is now under mandatory evacuation.... which is funny, b/c the last time they had a mandatory evacuation, about 25% of the people still stayed....

Did I mention my backyard and patio are finished....

Well almost, still gotta get the shed and roller shade up....

We;re having a drill party and barn rasing tomorrow... hopefully, it won't rain tomorrow...

Sounds like it went AMAZINGLY!! Thats pretty awesome feedback for the first event.. Im guessing capping hte numbers at 100 ended upbeing a really good call too?

Did you ever solve the mystery of the missing drink bottles?

Hmm.... If it's raining there on Sunday and drains through the earth then it might get here by sunday and rain....

No... I haven't had my Jack yet....

Lol - hmmm I was more thinking is all the rain was down here it doest have time to get around there....  

Definitely glad we capped it.... thinking that next year we will try to accomodate 200 to 250 but maybe look at doing chips....

NO., the bottles never reappeared.... we had an incident yesterday with the shirts too.... I KNOW and so does the Pool Manager, that we ordered 121 and cushioned a few in each size for 7 extras.... we had to call the shirt comp to get SEVEN more printed for packets... and all our extras ended up being small's  ?????  Weird????
