OH! Nice one!

The plan is for me to get mine next Tuesday. I have to stop by the shop and see the design this week.

The M-Dot will be the center of a beautiful flower.

An old timer at work said tattoos are permanent reminders of temporary conditions, after he saw my frat ink about 15 years ago. He was right until I saw one of my old frat buddies jockstrapping Last Sunday and had a nice conversation. I have to say Grit that looks awesome where did you go, Charlie did mine about 22 years ago God rest his soul.

Tim (still pumped up for you guys great freakin job Sunday)

I cant imagine a day that will go by where I wont be a better man for having completed an Ironman triathlon.  The friendships Ive formed, all of the knowledge that Ive gained about fitness, nutrition, about who I am and what Im capable of ... I like being reminded of that.

It hurts like hell right now and I didnt realize that you cant really get sweat in it until it heals so its gonna give me a nice 3 week long taper before nationals!

I went to Jay Fish at ACME Ink ... he came highly recommended by another local who did IMKY and has had alot of work done.

Yes.. they hurt for a bit... but MAKE SURE you follow what they say and take care of it. The one on my chest was AWESOME after it was done.... but being in the military and going through training at the time, I couldn't give it the attention needed..... and that is why it looks like crap now.

You worked hard.... and put in much more pain leading up to it...you want it to look as good as it can for all to see. Congrats again.. and it really is a sweet tat.

Definitely agree Ten9T6. I was gonna get mine this week, but I'm getting married in Jamaica in 3 weeks and want it to be competely healed before I go. The one on my back took about 2 hrs and about 3 weeks to heal, so I don't want to take any chances with the saltwater and sand.

Nice tat though grit. Did you get your wheels sent back?

Unfortunately yes ... I did have to send the wheels back already.  Im trying to justify spending that kind of cash on a set of race wheels, but I think Ill just need to be content to rent for now.

Nice!  I am excited to get my ink too, but it will have to wait until after October 25th.  Training for Great Floridian IM offically starts Monday.  With only 8 weeks between races, there is not enough time to stay out of the pool and let it heal.  Oh well, after IM number 2, I will really deserve the ink!!!

Nice artwork everyone. I can't get into it myself but as far as tattoos go I love to see the different IM designs. Shirts and medals are enough for me.

I'll be getting some ink after my last tri of this year on Oct 5th.  Haven't decided on the final design yet, but thinking about the horseshoe with the mdot in the center, black and grey with maybe some red highlights.

That is sooo cool.  You can't do that to yourself though dude.  You are being to hard on yourself.  This was just good training for your next one.
