Very Purdy!

I'd love to do a long ride with lots of climbs on that bike.

PS - I know I need to cut the steer tube down some more, but didn't want to go with too much until it was fit properly.

Purdy! Shouldn't it be covered in snow already?

Comet - 2008-10-09 7:56 PM Purdy! Shouldn't it be covered in snow already?

Haha. Can't you see how sunny and beautiful it is. Come to Vancouver, you'll see.

This bike will never see snow, I hope.

The color wouldn't be my first choice but it's not bad, and if you like it that's what counts. I really like the custom steel though and it sounds like you've done the rest right too. Very nice!

A steel-framed bike hitting the scale at 16.3 lbs is amazing.   Sounds like a number more commonly found for titanium and carbon set-ups. Is it your entire bike or just the frame at that weight?

That is a very sweet looking bike. If I may ask, what would it cost one to build such a bike?

Awesome bike

I have only seen a few bikes made from "Columbus Spirit" and they have all been feather light yet very strong. (Just a shade heavier than Aluminum but with a much better ride)  Definitely a bike that is gonna be a pleasure to spend hours and hours riding.

It will be like owning a Farrari: It is different, and everyone will be drawn to it, wanting to talk about it etc; Better get used to people gawking at it in public.

Jen, that is so beautiful!  congrats - it feels like it's been a long wait for it!

Hah! I'm not that short.

Will my other custom steel bike tonight and I see you tonight, i.e. are you racing tonight?
