"The Distance" World Premiere

As you probably know, I am nearly done with the documentary on Tammy (tripletmom01), Josh (mutri) and Dave's (djdavey) epic journey to completing their first Ironman.

In a way, it has been as much a journey for me. Just as they trained for nearly a year, I followed their training and personal lives for that time. In the end, I would estimate that I put in perhaps over 500 hours into filming, organizing and editing their journey. And I can honestly say, I'm very happy and proud of the results. I hope you'll all agree it was worth the effort.

That said, it's time to let you all see it. I'm currently investigating different venues (perhaps a real movie theater) to debut the film. But I need to know how many of you-- including any friends and family you may want to bring-- would like to attend the premiere. I don't have a date yet, but I'm thinking either late January or February. But I need to have a rough idea of how many I can expect to select an appropriate venue.

Can you please respond if you are interested in attending and let me know how many you will bring? I know the selected date will influence whether you can attend, but again I'm just looking for a rough headcount. Thanks!

I don't know any of you (at least not as close as you all seem) but I'd love to come and see it!  I'm assuming it's going to be in Madison?

Will there be a DVD release to purchase for those of us who may not be able to attend.  I am checking with the War Department to see if she wants to go and if I can go!
