HELLO PEEPS.
new thread YEAH!
and ERICA, your OFFICIALLY PEACHED. a LESS THAN AN HOUR shopping trip is WAY hard, if not harder than a 1 hr workout imho.
and i completely understand the get the workout in around the chilcare hours dilemma, been there done that, school makes a HUGE difference, fingers crossed you get am kindergarten!
alrighty then.
i swam and then i ran [for those who voted....grin]
38 mins in the pool. 29 mins on dry land. the run time flew by - i bumped into my friend/Y spin instructor and we ran together. not often i have company. made it tolerable to be indoors.
doing some re-evaluating on my plan for the MS150, still planning on riding, just need to tweak the trng plan,
i started adding up the mileage - which im sure is designed for someone who cycles all the time, and doesnt do much of anything else and thought HOLY CRAPOLY THATS A LOT OF MILES!
i want to make sure that im being reasonable about this going in and recognize that the time spent swimming and running COUNT towards my preparation.
im at a bit of a disadvantage cuz i have never done this event before, so im not sure what to expect, or how best to prepare.
i put some questions out to my tri mentor (the legendary Gordo Byrn) and also to the leader of our running club, multiple marathon, 2 hr endurance spintacular instructor extraordinaire.
w the meeting of THOSE minds (including mine) surely we'll HATCH a plan!
ONWARDANDUPWARD.
