Hey fellow MAsters!

Looks like I got here first which is unusual since speed is definitely not one of my superpowers. I have been a BTer since Sept and have done a challenge team most months since.  I completed my first 1/2 mary in Feb which was great.  I also teach spin 2 nights a week.  The running on top of spinning is bothering my knees so my superpower for the month is physical therapy.  I have promised to do 12 sessions of PT exercises this month as my goal.  Oh yeah, I am also nursing a shoulder tendonitis, I had 2 completely frozen shoulders 1 year ago  which improved with PT so I will be doing those exercises too.  REALLY I AM NOT A GOMER!!!

Last tri was 5 years ago, I am hoping to do both a sprint and oly distance this summer so I want to get these nagging issues cleared up!!

Other stuff- almost 51, married almost 30 yrs, 16 & 19 yo daughters, M.D. in my previous life now doing health and wellness education and coaching, live in the Ocean State.

Hey Team,

Cycling will be my super power for this month and the goal is to spend 15h 24mins on the real bike or the spin bike in April. The odd number is 10% more time than I did in March.... Looking forward to it! GO MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!

I am on BT since September 2008 and have been in challenges quite a bit since. My first tri will be a sprint on May 30rd. The next race is this Saturday, the Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston SC.... I am shooting for under 58 mins. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Heya, team!

Emily's my name.  Running's my game.  At least this month it is.  I'm prepping for my first half-mary on May 2nd and my first oly on May 16th.  I'll even come up with a solid goal some time by the end of the week.

Let's see...some things about me...

I'm 31 and in my second season of tri.  I did four sprints last year and am going to concentrate on olys this year.  I work full time in a chem lab and because I'm apparently a glutton for punishment I'm also back at the university as a part time student.  I'm a bit lacking in the "free time" area these days.

By the power of Greyskull!  We have the power!  Let's win us a challenge!

Hello team! I'm in it for running. This is my first challenge. I am off to a slow start because of a cold and a pulled muscle. Hopefully the second half of the month will be strong. I am running a marathon on May 3rd.

Good luck all!

Hey Masters of the Universe

My goal is to make it through all of my P90X workouts. I missed a whole week last month so I wanted to give myself a little more motivation for April.

I am 27 and I will be doing my second HIM in November. Since January of last year when I got a job thats about 100 miles (without exaggeration) from where I live I have done nothing but drive, eat junk food and gain weight. So my masterplan was to sign up for the B2B HIM, since I live in Wilmington, as a means of motivation. I am doing the P90X to get some modicum of strength back, seeing as how currently I am about as strong as limp noodle. And after P90X I have a 5 month HIM training plan that should carry me right up to race day.

Hey,

dum dum dum HE MAN dum dum dum.....by the powers vested in me..........

My power is cycling. I want 10 workouts in. This may be easy. This may be hard. Regardless it is probably more cycling than I have done all year to this point.

I am a new father, so time is scarce and motivation non existence (notwithstanding my HIM set for August).

Looking forward to a fun month.

Hey Masters! I got my first our of cycling in. On the spin bike.... Very dissapointed because I got my new road bike today. Unfortunately, I don't have enough muscle to get my clipless pedals of my hybrid and put in on the new bike.... So I have to wait until BF can get his muscle to work on it, before I can take my new baby out for a ride....

How is everyone doing??? Any April fool's day pranks going on???

Hi all!

Glad to "see" those of you I know again, and good to meet those I don't. Looks like we have an awesome team!

My super power this month is yoga, because I need to do more of it and since my first full marathon is this Saturday it should be good for my recovery. My goal is 12 sessions this month.

Go Masters of the Universe!!!
