Subject: GIRLS vs. BOYS Return of the Swim Challenge (MAY) For those of you who remember ... how much FUN this was? And those of you who are new ... THIS IS FUN!!! So it's high time to have high times with another one!
This is a SWIM challenge. You goal can be ANY of the following: - A total distance achieved for the month - A total amount of time spent working out for the month - A total number of workouts for the month (workouts must be a minimum of 15 "honest" minutes spent in the pool--not too much time chatting up the pool piglets or piglettes in the next lane) This challenge is open to EVERYONE, so no goal is too big or too small – but you know your own abilities, so select something that will CHALLENGE you to keep swimming or sticking to your training plan! You can automatically assume which team you're on based on your gender. If you're not sure, PM me and we'll decide on one. The role of the team is to provide support, advice and inspiration throughout the month to each other to help each other achieve your own personal goals. Teasing/taunting the other teams is highly recommended and part of the fun. This is a competition and a bit of sledging is always entertaining. Just keep it in the spirit of BT. DON'T FORGET it is meant to be fun ... so if something bothers you just step away from the computer and COOL DOWN IN THE POOL where it counts!
Challenge Guidelines:
1. Please make sure your team google spreadsheets are up to date at the end of each week so that I can get all the challenge results each Monday (the first week will be a long one). 2. The winning team will be determined but the overall % of goal achieved by the team. In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by the amount of team members who reached their own individual goal. 3. Individuals who achieve more than their committed goal will not have more than 100% credited 4. In the event of longterm illness or injury team members can withdraw from the challenge or modify a goal, but please let me know first and we will use the standard formula. 5. All training must be logged in your training log; if it's not there, it didn't happen!
THE WINNING TEAM OF THIS CHALLENGE CAN POST BRAGGING IN THEIR SIG LINES.
ANY INDIVIDUALS REACHING 100% OF PERSONAL GOAL CAN POST BRAGGING IN THE SIG LINE.
However, ALL members of the losing team MUST post an avatar of themselves in a swimsuit! Now, we're being nice, so actually, any shot with you in Lycra(R) or tri gear is fine. We STRONGLY encourage the return of the ASSATARS ... a picture featuring your nicely swim-toned rear in swim gear!
