Would it be possible for you to add functionality that would allow searching for a user by username?

Clumsy but not that difficult:

"Settings" settings at top of page

"Training Blog Customization" tab
"Friends" tab

  gives you a "Search for User Name" window

From there you can add him/her to your "Friends" to give you a link to his/her blog .

But I agree, a direct link to that "Search for User Name," with the result going straight to his/her blog would be nice.

Yes, that's how I usually have to do it. Beats searching through the alphabetical list.
