Subject: RE: Lake Minnetonka Trithe problem with training shortfalls is I had zero "base" to start with. I could not run 1/2 mile without walking, I think I did about 7-8 miles on the excersice bike in the gym at work (which I was suprised to find out is no where near 7-8 miles in the "real world" ), and the first swim I did I hung on the wall for dear life after 50 yards. So I have come a long way already just not as far as I would have liked, but its okay have to start somewhere right? Thanks for all the offers, would love any advice or friendly faces. I think I will have a decent cheering section but they know less about Tri's than I do. I will have on lighter blue tri top (Zoot I think ). I picked up a used QR sleeveless wetsuit. As far as the bike its all dark grey/black Specialized Globe hybrid that I have modified a little. I put road tires on it and my silver mountain bike bullhorn handlebar. |
