Champion 26509 Sydney | Subject: Garmin Slipstream Welcome to the Tour De France, Your team line up for this year is: crews doctorbob18 KOM MaesMama mattierocks MDHillSlug mekira ratherbesnowboarding starrlinda toddg
The American Garmin Slipstream will be contesting their second Tour De France in 2009. Lead by last years Top 5 contender Christian Vande Velde the team also features accomplished kiwi sprinter Julian Dean, time trial specialist rider Dave Zabriske and accomplished british one day rider Dave Millar. The rest of the team features aup and coming riders with a range of strengths and the potential to achieve on breakaway stages while offering strong support to Vande Velde.
Just a quick reminder that the challenge rules are posted in the original sign up thread but if there are any queries please let me know! Also... the one rule I need to remind you about is NO posting of information from the live Tour De France in team threads until AT LEAST 24 hours after it has occurred. This is to allow people to watch repeats or time delayed coverage without having their viewing destroyed by knowing the end result! Have a great July... no doubt I will pop in occassionally. Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Garmin Slipstream Hi team! I am Kathy, on BT since Sept 08, love being on a challenge team. Sitting watching the evening replay of today's stage. Great fun although I could do without the miserable commercials on Versus! I had a lovely ride today which completed 10% of my TdF goal. Glad to get off to a good start as the weather has been less than cooperative lately (i'm in RI). Hope you all had a great day. Anyone willing to make up a team log/link thingy we could put into our blogs? I can barely copy and paste..... Parlez Vous Argyle? Go Garmin! |
