Thanks SO much for the biking tips; I followed them to the best of my ability and had a PB on the 1st half of the race (32.53) finishing with 29 km avg speed which is a PB for me for 30km. I was THRILLED to hear you shout to me as you flew by on your bike. FYI, the swim was a bit 'long'. I find they never get them totally accurate - Peterborough was only 950 meters and this was probably 1050, so I don't put alot of store in comparing swim race paces. As you mentioned, we know how fast we can s/b/r from our training - for me, the races are more for the fun and excitement. Hope you have a WONDERFUL vacation! |
