Subject: RE: sexist vintage adsDespicable ads. I like (by like, I mean abhor) the way Lysol uses an all too common fear of alienation of affection to "sell" their product. Cuz we all know how much men enjoy and seek intimacy but for the mistakes their women make. So glad I was born at the tail end of the baby boomer generation. Then again, in my last relationship, I did all the yardwork, cleanup, housework, cooking AND his laundry. Out of the goodness of my heart, and my distaste for living in a mess. The difference between these ads and my life is that I had the option not do to these things, without fear of being slapped around. Edited by Renee 2009-08-08 9:22 AM
