Any feedback on how Infinit holds up in warmth, in terms of flavor. Also can you safely mix it and place a bottle or two in the special needs or will it go bad while waiting for you?

My infinit always is warm by the time I'm finishing it.  It's definitely not as good as it was cold, but it's also tolerable for me.

My intentions are to have a bottle just with the powder at my special needs.  Then use the water on the course to fill it up and mix.  That should at least start it out colder.

My Infinit always ends up warm while out on rides of 4 to 5 hours.  I don't really have any issues with drinking it, but it's nice to at least have cold water to chase it with and I use a Camelbak for my water while training.  Races I use an Aerobottle and cold water from aid stations.

I use the IM dist with the flavor dialed down and use double or triple amounts to make two bottles last for the length of ride I'm on.  In my IM I may throw a bottle of Infinit in the SN bag along with a tube, old tire, and Co2 cartridge, but hope to not need any of it and pass it by.

What he said.

I would mix a 4 hour bottle, but drink it over 6 hours... and I would ride in 100 degree heat. You can only imagine how warm it was by the end.

I could stomach it.

I can't believe how GOOD it tastes warm. I hate warm drinks, but warm Infinit is not bad at all. I like it cold, but for 5-6 hours it just isn't feasible.

Marvarnett here on BT just did IMKY and I believe he said he had a bottle that he had left overnight that was spoiled.  Don't know the details but you could pm him and ask.

Hrm I mixed a bottle the night before with no issues the next day for my IM and ya you can leave one in special needs np.  I would be interested to hear if others have had problems though.

If you go with just the powder in your bottle and intend to fill it on the course, be very very sure that the bottle does not have any moisture in the nosle or anywhere inside or it will get way clumped up, really hard to mix properly and will not come out of that bottle very easily at all.  Ask how I know.  I intend to always premix everything and just leave a bottle in special needs.  (I go with 2 1100 calorie ish bottles for IM).
