I think I can complete the Olympic sized one but not with a decent competive time. So I'm going to start out with a Sprint this year and work towards an Olympic+ next year. |

Champion 5312 Calgary | Subject: RE: Roll call and Race Plans 2010 Got a couple things going on, Frozen A$$ 50 in February, 10k race at the Glencoe Club in April, Calgary Marathon in may (sub 4 baby), Maybe the chinook half in June, a little Sinister 7 Action in July (hopefully doing 65 km of the relay), maybe the Moose Mountain Marathon in August and then the 100km Lost Soul Ultra down in Lethbridge in September. Dang that looks busy. |

Extreme Veteran 521 Coldstream ,BC | Subject: RE: Roll call and Race Plans 2010 In Airdrie here... doing Coral Springs sprint and Calgary 70.3 for sure. Also signed up for Vancouver marathon. Thinking about Chinook (olympic or half depends how I an feeling) and Florida 70.3 if I can get my holidays figured out. Also, when it gets warm, if anyone wants to ride the 70.3 course with me I am hoping to do it once a week starting in April. I often just ride to Old Banff Coach Road and then turn around. Let me know if you are in. |

I'm registered for the Great White North 70.3 in July. Also planning a half marathon, and maybe a full. Would love to try and qualify for an ironman!! In the fall I may do the Oly Tri in Banff or maybe just Melissa's HM. I plan to volunteer at IronMan Canada this year and register for 2011. On the Banff Tourism website they have the date of September 11th, but also say that it isn't for sure yet and there are still some hurdles to jump. The route is set. It would be a nice venue for sure and I'd be tempted to race it if it's a go. Joanne in Edmonton - 10km St Patrick's Day run, then a 1/2 Mary in Calgary and then a charity fundraiser 200km Ride to Conquer Cancer at the end of June. I'm eyeing up another 1/2 Mary in December in Vegas but that is still just an idea. I also need to fill July onward. I might try to fit my first tri in there somewhere but I'm a really weak swimmer  I start some swimming lessons tomorrow so hopefully that will help. I might not make it into an actual tri until 2011. |
