That is freaky. Apparently, the Peru police issued an international arrest warrant. For those of you that know things about stuff like this, will Van Der Sloot be going back to Peru anytime soon? I feel like when I hear about extradition cases, they take forever. Also, from the MSNBC article, Van Der Sloot's late father was a prominent judge in Aruba. I knew I had that part right that he probably got off because of his dad's money/connections. I wonder if he has connections in Peru. Hopefully not! |

I did a google search on it and it appears that if you have the $$$ or celebrity status you get a dorm style "jail cell" with a living room & kitchen, visitors etc. While other live in absolute squalor. One prison that was built in the 70's was supposed to house 2000 inmates and actually houses 7000. He needs to go to the worst of the worst. |
