Hey everyone. I know a lot of BTers will be there.  I am signed up for 10:00 on Saturday.  I haven't gotten any communication from the race at all - have you? I think it's odd to be totally silent, so I wondered if I missed something or it went into my spam mailbox.

Chisago in the morning and the 3:00 pm wave for Warrior Dash in the afternoon. I'm "racing" with some hockey buddies who told me they'd only let me run with them if I promised to go slow or do other activity before hand! It's all for fun, and I can't wait.

This is also my plan.  Plus a little U2 the night before.  Should be exciting.

You guys are animals!    I guess I can't complain about my two-race weekend

I am not super concerned about the Sunday triathlon except I need to be able to get my bike up Ohio Street without falling off.  So I am just going to save enough energy on Saturday for that.

FoggyGoggles - 2011-07-18 4:24 PM Wow! You're doing exactly what I did a few weeks ago: Go Commando on a Saturday and Lake Waconia Tri on Sunday. One thing I learned: don't go "all out" on Saturday like I did. They announced that they would be awarding the top 3 people in each wave at Go Commando. I went as hard as I could and took 2nd in my wave. I got nada for an award! Paid for it at Waconia for sure though!

Dude - that sucks!

I'm doing 2:30 on Saturday.  Haven't heard anything either - neither have anyone else I've talked to.  I printed off the Waiver & Release clain that we need to bring, and also the "Day of Dash" section that talks about packet pickup, what you need at the race, gear check, awards and parking.  I'm thinking that they may just figure they've covered it all since it's on the website.

I'm signed up to race on Sunday at 10am.  I'm hoping I'll have time to race the new City Crit in south Minneapolis, then head out to Afton from there.  I have an email out the the City Crit director to check on how long the early races are.  I might be able to pull off an 8:00 am crit then head out to afton for the 10am dash.  It would be tight, but may work.

I am in the 9 a.m. Saturday wave, "racing" with my sister. I just hope I can haul my wide butt over that wall. :P

I did get an email from the race folks yesterday, so I'm assuming the rest of you did also... ?

See you there!

But is was SOOO worth it! Did the 9:30 Saturday and finished just under 33. My wave cheated a bit though, they wouldn't let us do the climbing obstacles because of lightning.

I was the in same wave. I only felt bad for a half second about not climbing those two walls   I wonder how much longer my 45 min race would have gone on...
