Just got my new helmet from all3sports, and it rocks! Because of the face shield, I no longer have to wear glasses on the bike. I hate being in aero position and, glancing up, having my vision obstructed by the upper frame of my glasses. Plus, it raises my dork factor exponentially. Always a good thing.

Oh...the best thing: on clearance for $74.95. A big dorky bargain!

Be sure to wear in on every training ride, even on the trainer in the garage.

I don't think that you are a "dork" at all.  That is the kind of helmet I need because I am always breaking or scratching my sunglasses and I hate to ride without something to protect my eyes.  Of course some people will laugh at you and call out "hey Lance" in a pejorative way but who cares!?!  They are just assholes anyways and will yell stupidities at you wether you wear that helmet or not.

Uh, Jim....it's a good thing you didn't ask this question in COJ...I can't imagine the field day we'd have with all the ways to explain why you might be a dork....BSM being only the tip of the iceberg!!  Seriously, the helmet is cool.  What color did you go with?

Did you wear it to work this morning? That would cinch your dorkdom.

Say, that Fireman would go well with my FAST bike! Any room left on the dork couch?

Well it all depends...

what color did you get, you dork?

Actually that is a great buy. On ST I read this thread where wind tunnel testing seems to show that an aero helmet saves more than either a fresh wheelset or a more aero frame. Ofcourse I have no references.

Now, if I were driving by you on the road, I would probably yell out, "Nice helmet McSpaz-A-Tron," but it would really only be my jealousy welling to the surface...

Maybe I'll run the Atlanta half as BSM and wear the helmet. That would be cool.
