Left over bear meat provided by my hillbilly neighbor. It actually has a good taste and texture, but I have heard that you shouldn't eat too much of it because bears eat anything and it accumulates in their muscle.

You're trying to lose weight BEFORE the holidays? Why set yourself up for failure? Stick with just maintaining.

Ok- so a coworker of mine walks up to me and gives me a fax.  It's from Haley, and it's the turkey ( I think) that she faxed.  I'm trying so hard not laugh, becuause my coworker who gave it to me is extremely anal and doesn't have a sense of humor.

She said "I thought this was yours- it was mixed in with my stuff."  I reply, "thanks"- trying to figure out that the 2 blobs on the piece on paper are turkey, and then say disappointly- "it didn't turn out well."  LOL- I felt sooo dumb!  Oh well- it was a great laugh- thanks Comet!

We did ours today too. My secretary makes her side dishs with 2 sticks of butter and about a quart of sour cream per pan, and everybody wonders why the casseroles taste so good.

I went only one step beyond you: corn muffins, from Jiffy mix of course!
