Subject: RE: 4/26/04 MondayDid my killer aerobics class this morning. We really worked our legs today. I've been asked why I do aerobics instead of "training" with that time. Well this is a cardio combo class that includes step aerobics, running, weights, intervals, and pilates. I have found that since starting it my legs feel better after a run, I'm more "bouncy" (must be the three and threes where we run up the gym one-two-three and then jump up and down in the air). I think it is an important PART of my training. Anyhow, this afternoon is a 17 min run. IT's my "back off" week. I had planned to ride a bike to work but I'm sick today...terrible sore throat and can barely talk. Physically I feel okay from the shoulders down, but my throat is SCREAMING and I have to teach all day tomorrow and tomorrow night, so today I'm resting my throat. Going to a hockey game tonight. My first time! Can't wait! I was a little disappointed that we HAD planned to run and bike a "short brick" around Greenlake and then go to a movie, but that's okay. Our "local" team is in the playoffs and this might be their last game. |
