Darn, isn't that always the case ... they are all too small for my big honking feet!!!  Else, I would have bought 2 pair.

A friend of mine who I consider is in the know regarding bike shoes (he owns like 30 pairs at one time) told me that to use this shoe with SPD cleat I would need to order this http://store.airbomb.com/Itemdesc.asp?Cartid={4D53AEVEREST345-486F-4B9D-8EE2-1A73FA3AC4B4}&ic=SH2195&eq=&Tp=

this is email to me regarding this issue:

"Different cleats, different bolt patterns. In this model shoe, Time elected to handle this with different inserts rather than a universal sole."

Take this for what its worth

Eric

I think we might be cleaning them out.  There are no more size 43's left (based on the link).

They come set up for Look Pedals. I am moving my SPD pedals to my Mtn bike and buying new Look pedals next payday.

I just figured it out...I wear a "46 Euro"...

Hey Ott, I like the picture of your Bassett Hound...reminds me of the one I had when I was younger. I am trying to convince my wife to get one, but she think they smell bad...I don't think so!

Huh...this is interesting since it says "100% compatible sole for all pedal systems."  Unless I'm misunderstanding this statement, it seems it would be compatible.  Maybe compatible but still missing the below part.  Well, either way, I have look pedals so i'm ok.

They are 100% compatible if you have the right inserts. They only come with LOOK inserts. See fine print.

FYI, I ordered a pair of these and the shipping confirmation said that they are no longer shipping the "look adapter plate" with these shoes. Doesn't affect me since I purchased a SPD plate ($32 total - still dirt cheap), but good to know.

I recieved mine today with the LOOK adapters. Fits well. Kind of 'loud' for me but hey, it was a good deal. It'll match those people with red bikes or clothing. At first I thought they didn't fit, there was some plastic pieces in the shoe to keep the shape/form and of course, I was so excited, I didn't notice them and tried them on with the plastic housing in the shoes and I thought the shoes were too small. Took them out and they fit great.

Looks like the price just got jacked up to $79.99...that was probably the price they were supposed to be. $19.99 had to be a mistake.

Got mine in today.  I purposefully got one size down (39) from my last pair b/c I want to try and cycle barefoot.  This might have been a mistake.  They are a bit snug and damn stiff (which I guess is the point).  I'll try and wear some socks and walk around for a few days to stretch them out.  They sure look purty!

I went back to the website to see if they had any 40's left and saw the price change.  It's down to 49.99, but why the price hike at all?  Must have been a mistake...seems too good to be true to have a 175.00 pair of shoes for 20.00

I would think you can exchange it like you do in regular stores like gap or macys, product for product, regardless of a price change.  It would at least be worth asking them.  With all my dealings with them, they had pretty good customer service.

Worse comes to worse, you can at least return it.

Just got my adaptor plate and took these for a spin. They are a close fit but not circulation killing - perfect.

I gotta say, though, the $19.99 was not too good to be true. 1) They were sold out of the adaptor plate, and 2) These are hideous shoes. Pink and white, with the website printed across the toe? I am happy, but I wouldn't have paid a penny more.
