Just an FYI - I am determining the mid-month stats by average % goal completed. Because we have a mix of minutes / distance I can't determine an overall average complete and compared it with % goal complete.

In the end, I will have a % of goal complete and the average % goal accomplished.

The interesting piece will happen on 3 March when I post the final results. This is like playing a NCAA Hoops tournament pool. There are some competitors who are not likely to hit their targets while they currently have teammates who are near their goals. If they don't complete their goal, it will pull down the team average.

The moral of the story is... it's time for some long slow runs this weekend!!!

Friends:

Our illustrious Team leader is out with some wheel problems and suffering from the flu (along with his kids -- hope Mom doesn't have it as well!) ... still, Team Florida Force is on track.

If our captain needs it to be, I would be happy to take the remaining 150 minutes that he needs for 100%.  My goal will be met on Saturday...and then Sunday I plan on doing the marathon in 4 hours and 15 minutes, so that's 255 minutes.  Is this acceptable to the rest of you guys?  Most importantly, Don (if you're able to get out of bed and read this) is this ok with YOU?

Nevertheless, though, we are still rooting for you to complete the marathon in 4 hours 15 minutes with the ~9:30 per mile pace!

Looking forward to the race report ...

Okay Team Captains, post your weekly totals for each other team (and team members) to see, be inspired and run towards!

It's Thursday already and we do not have a complete listing of where each team is relative their stated goal ...

Edit: unless, of course, I am a complete idiot and it is posted on a separate thread ... then just point me in the right direction and (looking down, kicking dirt sheepishly) I go there.

I don't have a more current update without going through my teams logs and doing it manually.

I'll leave everyone in rapt anticipation until I do my weekend calculation.

Think it would be a good idea as it might give those who need a bit more some much needed motivation to strap on the ole trainers and get out for the final few miles ...

Well, as awesome as my team has been, we have been plagued by colds and viruses which have made it impossible for some to finish, so I already know the Monster Milers are going to fall short of the goal (unless some running miracles happen).

But we're not going down without a fight!
