Subject: RE: Any distance swimmers out there?Umm... most open water I've done was a 5k training session. I have done 10k workouts before, and maybe 14k days when I was crazy. Oh, I also did 85k/week training camps.
Don't swim continuously for 2 hours (well maybe once would be good ). Change your paces too: If you do 300s, do something like 2@4:30, 1@4:10, 2@4:20, 1@4:00, 2@4:10, 1@3:50. Interrupt your intense training with some kick or drills, then do something endurance like to finish off. If you need ideas, check my logs from september to february. |
