I am so excited!! I have set my mind to it that 2004 is the year I am going to try my first TRI.

I am from the coolest country in the whole world. SOUTH AFRICA. I live in the beautiful city of Cape Town. I am 35 and have done my first marathon this year in February. My two boys are 7 and 3 years. My husband and I run our own Irrigation Company.
Enough about myself. Who els is out there I am keen to learn more about triathlon and the required training. Please note that I am also a novice at this internet thing and will probably make a couple of mistakes here and there.

welcome! whats your current training like? several plans onthe main site for the sprint and oly distances....obviously you will have no problems on the run

Greetings!

I was in Cape Town in 2000 for Ironman South Africa. What a beautiful place, indeed! I stayed at the wonderful Villa Via Hotel.

I hope to get out there again since the ironman race is back in action! I'm just as excited as you are to hear you're planning your first triathlon this year! (What better place to race, too!) Hope to hear of your first tri soon!
