Something went wrong dropped 6 minutes offmof last years time? Guess the O.T. and soccer coaching caught up with me, only 2-3 bikes a week vs. 3-4.

Bettered last years pace by about 16 sec per mile. Very happy.

As I turned off toward the finish I look up and see this 60 something guy (specatator) walking across the course right in front of me with eyes wide open, I had no time to change course I was flying, and boom, impact! Knocked the guy down and never had a chance to look back.

Qualified for Hy-Vee US 5150 Champion ships in September? Guess getting older has it's benefits, because my time really didn't justify the reward.

Race event was to disorganized as far as communication from race organizers tomparticipants goes, otherwise a very well run race!

When they say transition closes at 7:00 it does open up again once you start the race, you don't need to stand outside waiting for them to invite you in to T1.  Seriously though, nice race, I think the bike course is about a mile longer than last year, if that helps with your bike split.
