I've seen some great quotes on here at random times and I am looking for some to use as a sig (like many of you have) and also for a mantra whilst training those hard sessions..
So, would love it if any of you would care to share some of your favourite ones here.. and , yes, there is a chance I may 'borrow' yours..

My favorite is "not dead cant quit". It's from a story about a heroic navy seal and I have it on my sig as well as my road ID. More than once during a tough workout I look at it and it puts things in perspective
"He laughs at fear, afraid of nothing, He does not shy away from the sword. The quiver rattles against his side, along with the flashing spear and lance. In frenzied excitement he eats up the ground. He cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds."
There is an 80% chance I could be wrong, but I believe they trained the olympic athletes to tell themselves this on their last 50/100 meters. I tried it and it works!
Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ... WOW! What a ride!

I actually have this as my last line on my RoadID wristband and in Latin in my Sig. line
"Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude." Thomas Jefferson
