Subject: Duct Tape - any negatives for blister protection?I know blisters have been discussed a lot - I've searched. And I have tried almost everything except the duct tape. I know I should just HTFU, but I would also like to possibly not be miserable from a blister for the last hour and a half of my race (and the last 2 miles are on trails so I know that will be quite painful ) So, after searching the forums and trying various remedies to no avail, I am ready to try duct tape over the adhesive knit for my next training run. I have searched the forums for "duct" and haven't seen any drawbacks to using it so I thought I would ask. Thanks! Blister details if interested.... - first HIM in 10 days
- blister is along the side of the ball of the foot.
- Anything after 45 minutes running is painful
- I think it may be a pinching issue - not rubbing
- I know I probably need different shoes, but not going to happen before the race.
- I've tried BodyGlide, Aquaphor, Blister Pads, Spenco Blister Kit, Adhesive knit, band aids
