Subject: Finding money!!

I found a certificate to redeem at my high school for a $100 scholarship they gave me in the summer. I remember getting it but I was so doped up on opiates at the time (percocet... other painkillers for a surgery I had) I couldn't remember filing it away in a cabinet. I ordered a giro advantage 2 helmet with a $70 loan from my mom, because I couldn't pass up the deal. Plus I owe a friend $20 in gas money, and a tire tube haha

So now I have $3. Which is enough for a 6 inch subway sandwich if I take some of the quarters in my truck lying around :D Helloooooo debt free. Plus I just got hired at the LBS for part-time hours. It'll be enough to sustain my stomach. I'm glad my mum isn't charging me for my phone bill until I ship off to West Point next summer -.-

Just wanted to share with the community.

Taxes, young man. Send that $3 to me and I'll be sure the government gets it.

I'm familiar with taxes. Especially when they deduct half of your paycheck (literally. 700 net, 1383 gross) in a bi-weekly pay as a lifeguard.

Good thing I'm still currently unemployed. at least until Friday. So doesn't that mean YOU should be paying ME?

I put on my College GameDay outfit (that I wore back in college) last weekend. I found $20 in the pocket: it was beer money back in the day. I was so happy that 1) it fit and 2) there was money in the pocket!

That couldn't have been what you wore in College.  Nobody had $20 leftover after drinking at a game in college.  Usually we had to round up all the loose change we could find to buy a case of Old Milwaukee.

Yep, it was. I was just as shocked as you! I was actually surprised, I don't remember having that many free $20's in college. But, I've also never been a fan of cheap beer

You know you can fix that if you don't fill out your W4 with all 0's  right?
