Veteran 312 St. Paul | Subject: RE: pres debate #2 Pres. Obama will come out swinging and will be much more energetic, due to this debate being closer to sea level. He's appear to be paying a lot of attention to Gov. Romney. He will use the work "friend" less than VP Biden. He will accuse Gov. Romney of flip-flopping on at least two issues. |

Austin, Texas or Jupiter, Florida | Subject: RE: pres debate #2 I think it's advantage Obama in the format. When in Romney's business life was he expected to walk around and answer questions from employees that he couldn't fire? But Obama without a TelePrompTer is a scary thing mostly for supporters. My prediction: draw. Drinking words: look, Billion, Trillion, Wealthiest 1%. Because my wifey arrives in Austin at 9pm Central and I haven't seen her in 3 weeks, I probably won't watch any of it live. Priorities. |

It will be interesting to see if the rate changes after possible fibs/exaggerations. To keep it "fair and balanced," I'll have my blink sensors on the President as well! |

That's funny I have seen a number of studies that say lying cannot be determined by "blink rate" there are many factors that are indicative of stress but that does not mean one is lying just that one is in a stressful situation. That, or that one's contacts are dry. Junk science is nothing new in newspapers though; sorry CD you will have to look for another indicator. |

I'm curious as to what the over under should be on lies? I'll say 12, a dirty dozen if you will. Which one will tell more lies? If you make this a drinking game, please arrange in advance to take Wednesday off. Will Obama explain why our unemployment rate is 40% higher today than he said it would be WITHOUT blaming Bush? I predict NOT. I do predict that he will attack Romney for paying taxes that he was legally obligated to pay and no more. Big Bird won't be an issue brought up by either side. The War on Women will be an issue. Obama will promise to give millions of people free stuff so they will vote for him. Why wouldn't you vote for RobingHood? |

The parents asked that their son's name and the fact Romney had met him not be politicized. The Administration's handling of the attacks on the consulate in Libya and embassy in Egypt, and their outright deception in the aftermath, are still very legitimate issues and should be a primary topic. |

That was the ex-navy seal I do believe. This is the ambassador's parents. |

That was the ex-navy seal I do believe. This is the ambassador's parents. Ah, hadn't heard that before. I can understand the Ambassador's parents' views, but the fact is that their son was a public figure (even a political one, as ambassador's are political appointees) involved in an international incident with enormous political repercussions. It's a legitimate topic that should be brought up and discussed. |

Austin, Texas or Jupiter, Florida | Subject: RE: pres debate #2 Chris Stevens coverup reminds me an awful lot of the Pat Tillman deal. Democrats made a movie of that guy's death for Political gain. First ambassador killed since 1979 And the administration chose to campaign rather then to answer questions about the incident. We need more talking about Chris Stevens rather than less. |
