Subject: RE: We talk about men shaving their legs, what about men...Doesn't bother me a bit. I wanted to get my ear pierced when I was a teenager but never did. The desire has passed and I have no need/desire to get it done now. I think as a society it's very common for guys to have ears pierced and it's not abnormal to see a business executive or judge with a pierced ear. I also think piercings are a lot less permanent than things like tattoos so I almost encourage face/nose/ear piercings over tattoo's when kids are wanting to express themselves. If/when they grow out of it they simply remove them and let it grow shut. Not quite as easy with a tattoo. I personally don't like the ear lobe stretching stuff, but more because it looks like it would hurt and it deforms a part of the body. It doesn't bother me per se, but it's more of an "ouch" type of thought I get when I see it. |
