I waassss a member of brt by the loosest association - ie, i signed up once! i definitely ride a1a a lot - well, have ridden in the past, but soon will be back out there. and, yes, im sure you have passed me.... most people do! haha! |

I don't think that's possible. I believe this thread is generated by BT when they enter the information about the race. I actually emailed them a day or two ago asking when they would enter the race on the schedule so it would generate this thread. Don't worry, the 2012 thread will drop off the page as people quit posting in it. After that, it will be less confusing. |

There is a group of 12 from Fat Frogs Tri in Chesapeake, VA coming down and doing it together. This will be my first one. Got in a bad wreck the beginning of August that sidelined the rest of my season. Most of the damage was to my face/ mainly the teeth. Today was my first day back in the pool since the injuries. I did Louisville in 2011. Went through some major burnout after that, but I'm ready to get back into it now. I'm really nervous about the salt water. I have a weak stomach and a horrible gag reflex. Salt water and me don't get along. Oh we'll, HTFU and press on, right? Looking forward to keeping up on the thread and getting to know all of you. My room hasn't been booked yet, but I was looking at the Shores of Panama. Anyone have an idea how fast they sell out? That place is huge and the race is during the off season, so I can't imagine a sell out, but wanted to throw it out there to seeing anyone knows for sure. Dan |

Dan I waited until February last year until booking Shores of Panama, a lot of stuff was already booked by then. I re booked the same room for 2013. This year I'm going to bring my mt bike along for the trips to check in, IM village and athlete meeting, the walks not far but it would be easier and faster. |
