I was just reflecting yesterday on our oldest son's birth. He turned 18 on the 10th and we had a similar experience, minus the parking lot part. My wife was 6 weeks early and we were walking around Target shopping for our first Christmas tree and on the drive home her water just broke in the car. I was full on freaking out and driving like a madman to the hospital. We made it to the hospital so I dodged that bullet. |

A similar thing happened to some friends of mine but at their house - she ended up giving birth on the bathroom floor. Dad delivered before EMTs could get there. So wild. On the phone with the Midwife one minute, the next my daughter was crowning as I was on the toilet. Crazy how fast things happen! |
