Why would I not love great tv...both are excellent.  I dropped off of American Dad a while back when it hit a lull, but over the past year or two, the show has definitely picked up steam.  I've seen some hilarious episodes.

btw, I was part of the crazy fan group that got Family Guy back after it was initially booted off the air.  They were booted off the air after their (deemed by some to be too offensive) "When you wish upon a Weinstein" episode around the turn of the millennium.

Iowaman, you've got great taste.

Thanks Brian and way to fight "the man" to give back a very entertaining show.

All I'm saying is in the interlude between season 3 and 4 I may or may not have memorized every episode of Season 1-3.

Perhaps this is an okay spot for a little Fam Guy trivia?  If not, just delete this.   Some folks are right-handed, some are left-handed...please tell me what Quagmire is, and how we found out.

Ding-ding-ding!  You might wanna throw a NSFW label on that link.

So yes, Quagmire's a lefty.  Classic Quagmire.  I always wondered why Cleveland got his own show and Quagmire didn't.  I will say The Cleveland Show never did anything for me...that said, I don't think I gave it much of a chance.

Never found my groove with The Cleveland Show. Now that I watch American Dad in rerun (two episodes a night on the Cartoon Network before bed) I do find it funnier and funnier. Great one liners! (I wish some other chicas would chime in ...I can't be the only old broad who likes this stuff)

You are the perfect woman. Laughing

Hello!

Family Guy is AWESOME and I may or may not have seasons 1-7 on DVD that I will watch.  I've watched American Dad a few times but for some reason it just hasn't grabbed my attention as much as Family Guy has.  And just a big, fat no to The Cleveland Show.

Did you just say Cool Whhhip?

Since I throw FG references in half my TAN posts, I guess I like the show.

So I have watched FG from the beginning - IIRC it premiered after the 99 super bowl.

However, over the last 3-4 years, I've gotten real bored with it

I simply cannot hear that song without hearing Peter singing it and picturing him dancing.  I sometimes randomly get the 'Shepoopi' song from the episode where he made the football team stuck in my head.

Love when he hurts himself and we are treated to a long segment of "SSSSSS...aaahhhhh...." (repeat over an dover while rocking back and forth)
