What an amazing woman to be able to keep her composure in this situation.

So, I'm not very religious. My recent military training somewhat changed that - the message was always so positive, and the comradery among those who went with me was great.

The chaplain this weekend talked about a chaplain that was in the D-Day invasion at Normandy. He couldn't make it up the cliff, and had to dig a foxhole to stay in for the night. “I couldn’t get over the 100 foot cliff so I had to dig my own foxhole that night on the beach,” he noted.
“I prayed as if everything depended on the Lord, and I dug as if everything depended on me.” ... “The Lord and me got that foxhole pretty deep.” (full article here: http://blog.godreports.com/2011/06/remembering-the-last-surviving-d...

I think my general problem with religion is when people do too much of the former, and not enough of the latter.

This woman definitely showed action, too. Which is awesome.

I listened to it today.  It was amazing.  I was bawling with her at the end...such an emotional time.  I couldn't have done it.

She did such an outstanding job. She stayed so calm, considering the situation. That's the kind of characteristic we need more of in society.

x 2 on both counts. That is hilarious.

For the other bit, amazing. Handled differently it would have been a massacre.

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.
