Comments: The start was crowded and other than getting around very slow walkers I just went with the flow. The first part, up the hill, was difficult for me after the prior race and I walked a tad. My goal for this race was to keep an easy pace. The turnaround came quickly and it seemed like the time flew by. It was drizzling pretty good and I decided to wear my long-sleeved top, so my goal was to not run hard enough that I overheated. But, I admit, it wasn't terribly hard to keep the pace easy - I was tired.  Post race
Event comments: Definitely wouldn't recommend this race for a PR for LOTS of reasons. But for a fun family oriented event it was fine. Lots of kids. Last updated: 2013-08-08 12:00 AM

After the 10k spent the half hour to just eat a little bit and went to the potty. Talked with some folks at the start line and pretty much just got running.
