After the 10k spent the half hour to just eat a little bit and went to the potty. Talked with some folks at the start line and pretty much just got running.

The start was crowded and other than getting around very slow walkers I just went with the flow. The first part, up the hill, was difficult for me after the prior race and I walked a tad. My goal for this race was to keep an easy pace. The turnaround came quickly and it seemed like the time flew by. It was drizzling pretty good and I decided to wear my long-sleeved top, so my goal was to not run hard enough that I overheated. But, I admit, it wasn't terribly hard to keep the pace easy - I was tired.

Definitely wouldn't recommend this race for a PR for LOTS of reasons. But for a fun family oriented event it was fine. Lots of kids.
