Selling my trusty Trek 2300 with Tri setup (full details below). This was my first bike that got me into a sport that I love. New to triathlons or looking for a second bike to complement your roadie? This is a great option. I own a Venge and a P2 so this guy just does not get any road time anymore. http://www.flickr.com/photos/97603735@N04/

This is a monster hill climber. With a triple crankset you will never find a hill you can’t climb and it has plenty of gearing to get you going fast.

The aluminum frame / carbon fork combo provides a stiff but comfortable ride. The Rolf wheels are awesome and stay true. The Syntace C2 Bio Wing aerobars are comfortable and very adjustable. You can get them just right for broad or skinny shoulders. Including two seats so you choose which you like best.

There are a few scratches in the decals and one or two paint chips that you can see in the photos but nothing unusual. Bike has been stored on a rack in a garage off the floor. I kept it in great shape. The cables, cassette and chain all have less than 500 miles on them. The bar tape is brand new. It was fully serviced on September 13.

Interested in other peoples opinion of this bike? Check out these reviews. http://www.roadbikereview.com/cat/2001-bikes-and-older/older-road-b...

Local pickup in North Jersey? I’ll spare you the shipping fee. For shipping $95 - I’ll have this professionally packed by my local bike shop, Bicycle Tech. They also have been servicing this bike and they can vouch for the service it received.

I couldn’t help but feel that the race had beaten me. Perhaps duathlons were more for me? No, I was more determined than ever to succeed. I was determined to get on top of my swimming.

This month, drills make up about 20% of each workout, and we’re introducing intervals. The focus will be on extending your stroke and hip rotation.

This life of mine is not so different from yours. It has a multitude of similarities. I suffer from uncertainty, I get nervous at the thought of registering and when getting to the starting line.

I am not going to buy a tri-suit before my first tri - I want to make sure I am going to stick with this before I spend a lot of money on it so I want to figure out what will work best.

I couldn't believe that my splits kept getting lower! I started to run harder after I passed the "5 km" sign and picked a few people that I wanted to pass.
